David S. Rupert
David S. Rupert joined R. J. Waldron & Co. in 1984 after working 13 years for the Canadian Department of Transport Aviation Safety Bureau. Since 1971, Mr. Rupert has been directly involved in over seven hundred aircraft accident and incident investigations. He has also had indirect involvement in several hundred other aviation investigations.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Certified Applied Science Technologist (AScT) as a member of the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia
- Member – International Society of Air Safety Investigators
- Member – American Society for Metals
Education
1970 - Graduated with Honors from the Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma program in Ottawa, Ontario
1971-2006 - Has completed over twenty aircraft accident investigation, metallurgy and failure analysis-related courses
