George E. Heath
George Heath joined R.J. Waldron & Company in 1997 following 14 years with Transport Canada and the Transportation Safety Board of Canada. George has over 35 years of aviation experience with 22 years specifically in the accident investigation field and has completed more than 500 investigations during that time. George's aviation background includes air traffic control, aircraft maintenance engineer and commercial pilot. In addition to his extensive and diverse investigation experience, he has received considerable specialized training from the FAA, NTSB, Transport Canada, Transportation Safety Board of Canada, University of Southern California, Emery Riddle Aeronautical University, Robertson Research and others.
Qualifications
- Investigator; Appointed by the Chairman of the Transportation Safety Board of Canada (1985-1997)
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, valid for categories M1 and M2
- Commercial Pilot License, Airplane single engine land and sea. Night Endorsement
- Trained air traffic controller
